88th Pennsylvania House District

Setting the Record Straight

Jeffrey Clark

Hi, this is Jeff Clark.

As mail ballots arrive, I want you to hear directly from me.

The attack ads about me are simply not true. I served four years in the U.S. Air Force and 23 years in law enforcement, and I’m proud of my service. My former police chief confirmed I was eligible for rehire. Read his letter here.

My opponent wants this race to be about attacks. I want it to be about you, keeping the 88th District a great place to live.

I was told I needed to go to PACs, hat in hand, to win. Instead, we built this campaign from the ground up with personal donations, door knocking, and neighbors supporting neighbors.

I’m not a career politician, and I won’t become one.

I humbly ask for your vote.

MEMO

Chief Jim Stewart

August 21, 2026

After reviewing Jeff Clark’s personnel file, I have examined his previous “do not rehire” status from the prior administration. I am updating that status to indicate that Jeff Clark is eligible for rehire, provided he meets all current requirements for the position of police officer. I find no evidence that his departure, which appears to have been for personal reasons, should disqualify him from future employment.

Respectfully,
Chief Jim Stewart
